Heated Wellness Bed for Cats

Most pets love to sleep a lot, but as compared to dogs, cats spend more of their time in dream land. Some cats love to lay down in the carpet or rug, some sleep by the window, and some on their owner’s lap. While these areas have already been their favourite, it’s better for owners to provide more softness and comfort for their sleeping cats. If people can be relieved of their daily stress by a thick and soft cushion, pets can appreciate that too. Why let them sleep on uncomfortable areas when there are cat beds that can hug them as they dream away.

The Petsafe Heated Wellness Rectangle Pet Bed is the ideal sleeping area for pets specially this Christmas season. The bed has low level therapeutic warm that will give pets warmth through the night. The therapeutic foam adds comfort and support to the dog's body.

Aside from warmth, this heated pet bed is also beneficial for arthritic and old dogs. It will give support to the pressure points like the spine, hips, and shoulders. It relieves sore joints too. This pet bed is affordable, most of all it is petsafe.

Soft and comfortable  pet beds  can ensure longer and comfier sleeping hours.  Heated pet beds  can give extra warmth and therapy for cats.

Dog Walking and Pet Health

If your pet is starting to gain more weight, losing the extra pounds through the natural way is more suggested to ensure pet health. Dog walking is the most common and easy way to exercise your dog. Whether walking the dog on or off the leash, it is still an excellent activity that both pets and owners can enjoy.

Overweight carries problems and inconveniences on both pets and owners. Exercise is a very effective way to lose weight especially if done along proper and healthy diet. Pet owners can take their pets for a walk in the park every morning. Walking can already contribute to weight-loss and as a matter of fact, is a recommended to burn calories and fats.  Dogs that do not get to do walking often become frustrated and usually demonstrate unwanted behavior such as barking, chewing, running away, and digging. Dog walking is also a great way to train your dog to walk without pulling on his leash. It is also better if he learns to walk beside you, at the same pace, without his leash.

When taking the dog out for a walk, the owner too can burn some extra calories as he walk his pet. An adequate amount of exercise is also good for the pet owner's health. What's also great about dog walking is that you get to meet a lot of people. It gives you the chance to talk to random people in the park, street, or downtown. You might also encounter other dog owners whom with you can form a dog play group.

Without a healthy diet and proper exercise, overweight pets are likely to experience numerous health risks such as osteoarthritis, type 2 diabetes, respiratory disorders, hypertension (high blood pressure and heart disease. Avoid these health problems and get pets into the active and healthy lifestyle.

There are various petsafe ways to keep your dog healthy and well-behaved. Dog walking is just one. Engage your dog into activities that improve his health and strengthen pet and owner relationship.

For First Time Dog Trainers

Most dog owners would prefer to personally conduct pet training rather than enrolling them in training schools. Dog training is an exciting and fulfilling experience that can help both dogs and their owners. Although it may be difficult and stressful at the beginning, specially for first time dog trainers, with the help of these tips, they can surely survive and have a well-trained and behaved dog.

Train in an area where your dog can focus and concentrate. The park may be a spacious area but it can be crowded and noisy. Thus, the pet will have a hard time hearing and obeying your commands. If you still prefer to do it in a park, be sure to find a quiet and less crowded spot. If your backyard is big enough to suit your training lessons, then better to just do it there. A place with lesser, or better, with no distractions will be the best training ground.

Stressing your dog is not advisable. Training lessons can be very tiring not just for the pet’s body but also for his mind. They have a short attention span too so don’t expect that they can focus for an hour or so of exhaustive training. It’s alright to have an extensive training module but try to keep the lessons short, around 20 to 30 minutes only. Do not over work your dog and try to give him time to rest in between the training time. Your dog may lose interest in training once he feels that training is an exhaustive activity for him.

Dogs love treats. You can give it to them anytime, but the best time to give it is during their training. Treats and toys can be their reward for showing obedience and exemplifying good behaviour. This way, you do not only show your appreciation for them, but also, they will learn to associate obedience is equals to treats. This way, he’ll be encouraged to follow your commands and do good every time.

Have a goal and do everything to achieve it. It is better if you have both short term and long term goals. It is important that you continue all effort until you achieve your goal. Some pet owners grow tired easily of training their pets. Dogs can be a too stubborn sometimes but please give them more of your time and patience. As mentioned earlier, training is a fulfilling experience especially if you have given much time and effort and at the end, you saw their progress. Having a well-behaved dog after training will make all the effort worth it.

Training can be a lot easier with the help of dog training aids. There is a wide selection in the market but be sure to try only a petsafe training tool. This way you can ensure the safety of your pet and guarantee effectiveness. You can also check product reviews to see what other dog owners and trainers are using.
